There are a plethora of audio guided meditation out there from listening to a soothing voice asking you to breathe to apps you can download of serene music. But has anyone tried audio brain wave technology? It supposedly induces slow brain waves similar to that of very experienced meditators.

I have tried loads of different ones different ones, from pineal gland, to kundalini awakening ones.
And then general ones.
Some on YouTube have visuals to accompany the sounds which I found extremely interesting. I find them to be very good if you want to try something a little different.
Some of them you can feel the energy vibration within them as you meditate that. I usually find this with the Chakra balancing ones. All in all worth a try for anyone who is intrigued by them.
Have you used them yourself?

Ages ago I used something called Holosync. It's was a program that takes you through different stages over a period of time. I don't think I stuck with it long enough to notice a difference. Do you continue your meditation or only use every now and again? Did you have some specific goal with it?

Ah yes it seems to be with a lot of them they need to be used for quite a period of time for them to be successful, and then some of them don't work at all.
I was using them to help with clairvoyance at the time. I found I could feel stimulation in the pineal gland, but not much more than that. So like you say a time factor.
But also I found that when you have a break from them you get improvements too, if that makes sense.
Sometimes we can push a little too much when we are eager for results and this can actually hinder instead of help sometimes.
Personally I try to do some form of meditation for at least 10 minutes a day. Even if I am directing it myself through intention

I think some form of meditation is important, especially in this age of constant information gorging. In our household, we have implemented a device free, information detox once a week. No phones, no films or tv, no i-pads! We talk to one another! lol

I have a few audio meditated transcripts which aid with healing the body and reducing anxiety. They put you in a meditated state. One of my favourites is called the healing pool. This is a very basic one but it works best for myself. After listening to this, I carry out an inner body scan to find fewer aches, pains which are caused by tension and stress/ anxiety. My body is lighter and far less sluggish. Does this resonate with anyone else?
