Do you think there should be one governing body in the martial arts which covers standards rather than style? This may include checks on health and safety, qualifications, teaching standards, first aid. Should this be government led or self regulated?

Good points Jackie. I agree. Do we have any responsibility to oversee the poor teaching standards and clubs, or just leave them too it knowing they give the industry a bad name and potentially place people at risk of injury or abuse?
