I have a Hive system at home. It not only controls Heating and water, but also my lighting. I have it on at random times in random rooms so it looks like there is always someone in.

There's been a lot of bad press about web enabled home systems being hacked. I watched a particularly disturbing clip where a camera was hacked and the intruder was talking to the occupants.
Until more research is done on them I'm avoiding them, same goes for systems like Alexa, easy to access by cyber criminals.

That's interesting Daz. No Cameras for us luckily, Just lights, heating and water. Not sure anyone wants to see me walking about in my undies either!!!
